Research and Programmes Manager, What Works for Children's Social Care
Patrick leads impact evaluations, manages existing grant programmes, and develops new funding calls for What Works for Children's Social Care.
Prior to joining the What Works for Children's Social Care, Patrick worked as a Research Advisor at the Behavioural Insights Team, working primarily on youth, education and skills projects. Before this, he worked for three years at Frontline, the social work charity, where he led their Monitoring and Evaluation and Customer Relationship Management teams.
He has also worked in a policy and research role for Relate, the relationship support charity, and as a secondary school mathematics teacher on Teach First’s Leadership Development Programme.
Patrick has an MA in Educational Leadership from the University of Warwick, a PGCE in secondary mathematics from Nottingham Trent University, and a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of York.
Outside of work, Patrick enjoys rock climbing, hiking and camping, and playing strategic board games.
