Julie is the Operations Director for the Creative Industries Policy and Evidence Centre (PEC)
She is responsible for the operational management and governance of the research centre and the strategic development of the consortium’s impact framework.
Prior to joining Nesta Julie was Director of Enterprise at Goldsmiths, University of London where she oversaw research and innovation industry partnerships. Julie has also previously held roles as Head of Knowledge Exchange and Creative Industries Manager at the Arts and Humanities Research Council where she developed and delivered the UK’s first Knowledge Exchange strategy and resultant funding programmes for this research community.
Julie has a background as a television producer and holds a Masters degree in Film and Television and English Language from the University of Glasgow and completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Film and Television Production at the University of Bristol.
