Azim Premji University Alumni

In the past seven years, over 1700 students have graduated and consistent with our social purpose, almost all of them are working in the social sector contributing to the development of our country. Strong ties between alumni and their alma mater are all the more relevant now, given the University’s vision to contribute to social change. The Alumni Association aims to build a vibrant community that will actively support the University’s journey. It is also important that the Alumni stay connected at a deeper level with current students to mentor them.

• Assist the University in fostering its vision, growth and prosperity

Objectives

To serve as an effective channel of communication and information amongst diverse members of the Association, through the medium of newsletters, publications, and the Azim Premji University website, events, or in any other manner that may be considered appropriate

• To encourage dialogue, debate, and discussion amongst members
• To provide networking opportunities to members
• To provide mentorship to social sector professionals
• To provide mentorship to the student community
• To support the Placements process at the University
• To liaise with alumni associations of other institutions
