SBM students are united in their passion for taking knowledge learned in the classroom and applying it in the business world. Over 90%* of SBM graduates were in relevant work 6 months after graduation and started their graduate careers working for many companies and in a range of sectors from Accountancy, Banking and Finance to Consulting, Marketing and Healthcare.

Graduate jobs and internships

The Careers & Enterprise team will help you navigate all your career options and whether you’re beginning undergraduate studies or progressing on to a postgraduate programme we’ve the careers curriculum that delivers. From core skills and career insights the moment you arrive on campus to careers fairs, employer presentations, skills sessions and workshops, you’ll find they’re all great ways to meet and network with employers and learn about the opportunities which await.

Work and study

There’s also time to participate in real life business projects through QConsult, build entrepreneurial skills with our Enterprise programme and gain first-hand experience of work through QTaster and QInterns.

Interested in developing your digital skills? Getting hands on experience to enhance your CV? Want the edge at interviews? Like our SBM students, you will have the opportunity to participate in the award-winning employability programme QConsult and get paid. It places QMUL students into mini consultancy projects in London-based businesses, charities and SBM.

Online resources complement advice and support you’ll receive from your career coach. Industry overviews and job hunting guides will guide you through the career choices you’ll be making, as well guides showing how to craft the perfect CV, make yourself stand out on paper and in person, and how to ace the graduate assessment process.
