Teaching

Yann Algan was Assistant Professor at University Paris 1 from 2002 to 2004, and Professor at University Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée from 2004 to 2006, prior to joining the Paris School Economics in 2006.

Since 2008, he has been a Professor of Economics at Sciences Po, where he teaches Sciences Po’s main introduction to economics course (this course was previously taught by Dominique Strauss-Kahn up until his appointment at the IMF).

As part of this course, Yann Algan is in charge of piloting the French adaptation and translation of Core Economics website (Economics for a changing world), a new undergraduate curriculum in economics. Since September 2016, the Toulouse School of Economics (TSE) has also been using Core Economics website. Follow this link to learn more about Core Economics website.
