Coronavirus

Our intention is that the conference will be a face-to-face conference within any government guidelines in place at the time of the event. However, if guidance means that a face-to-face conference is not viable, the RES are developing contingency plans which will be communicated at the earliest opportunity.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide further guidance as information becomes available.

Travel

Full details on how to travel to and from the Annual Conference can be found on the Queen's University Belfast website.

Belfast is served by two airports: George Best Belfast City Airport and Belfast International Airport which are both linked to the city by regular bus services. Dublin International Airport is located approximately 100 miles to the south. More information on the Queen's University Belfast website.

By boat

Fast ferry services including Stena Line and P&O Ferries make multiple daily crossings from Northern Ireland to ports in Scotland and England. The two main Belfast routes are from Liverpool and Cairnryan, both provided by Stena Line. An alternative route runs from Holyhead to Dublin, with excellent motorway connections between there and Belfast. More information on the Queen's University Belfast website.
