The Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice
Our response to Coronavirus (COVID-19)
The Ford Foundation has worked to proactively address concerns about the coronavirus and continues to monitor and assess this rapidly changing environment in New York and around the world.
We have closed the Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice, galleries and atrium until further notice as a precautionary measure. In consultation with the advice from NY City and State Departments of Health, we have taken additional measures to sanitize and deep-clean the entire center and its public spaces, requiring staff and tenants to work remotely, restricting business travel and canceling or postponing large meetings and events.
This is a dynamic and unprecedented situation. We are focused and committed to protecting the health and safety of our staff, grantees, partners, tenants, and visitors, while we continue to support vital programs, organizations and communities working to address inequality in the United States and around the globe.
