Postdoctoral Fellowship Opportunity in non-equilibrium statistical physics

The Santa Fe Institute-a private, not-for-profit theoretical research and education facility-has an opening for a full-time postdoc in non-equilibrium statistical physics. Funded by NSF, the project focuses on the first-passage and non-equilibrium dynamics of many-body systems. Specific topics include, but are not limited to: stochastic failure problems, extinction dynamics of microbial populations, stochastic search processes, and the random-walk modeling of foraging dynamics.
