Success for every student

Oxford Insight Mathematics has been substantially revised to reflect the requirements of the Australian Curriculum: Mathematics in New South Wales.

Oxford Insight Mathematics supports all students and teachers to be the best they can be. Confidence goes hand-in-hand with success, and the new Australian Curriculum in New South Wales provides a singular opportunity for teachers to support their students of all abilities to be self-assured and successful learners.

The three critical steps to success are:

Continuous assessment and personalised, student-centred learning: every student is different; every student has different learning needs. Ongoing assessment and instruction that match identified needs underpin deep, robust learning.

Calibrated introduction of key mathematical concepts: mastery of key concepts forms the foundation of mathematical success. Students need every opportunity to develop their understanding and make connections.

Consolidation of understanding: students need opportunities to develop fluency and apply their insights. Successful application is evidence of deep and retained understanding, essential to sustained mathematical success.

Oxford Insight Mathematics provides the complete resource solution to support empowered teaching and enable profound learning.
