As the world of scholarly publishing becomes ever more digital, we make sure that scholars worldwide are able to access our content in the format that best suits them. Whether this is online, an ebook, or in print, our aim is to ensure that every serious research institution in the world has the maximum access to our publications in the simplest, most cost-effective way.

Dissemination

This is not just about wide digital dissemination. Our publications are translated into over 40 languages and our Developing Countries Initiative ensures that scholars at institutions in less prosperous areas of the world are able to access our content in an affordable way.

OUP is also committed to supporting different business models in the dissemination of our scholarly research. We now publish over 60 fully Open Access journals, alongside a number of Open Access monographs, and offer an Open Access publishing option on almost all of our journals.
