In the third of four articles examining Core Economics website’s The Economy for the Economics & Political Weekly journal, Amit Basole and Arjun Jayadev, both from the Azim Premji University, reflect on their experience of using The Economy to teach undergraduate students in India and discuss the need for a version of the alternative textbook that addresses the needs of students who seek to understand the Indian economy.
